Tim Meyers is a Cheektowaga native. He and his wife, Val, raised their 4 children in Cheektowaga. 

He is a retired member of the Teamsters Local 264 and a past member of the International Longshoremen’s Association. He served at the Niagara Falls International Airport as the Airfield Supervisor.

He serves as the Majority Leader in the Erie County Legislature and represents District 7, which includes the communities of Cheektowaga, West Seneca, South Buffalo and Lovejoy.

He serves as the Chair of the Legislature’s Finance & Management and Energy and Environment Committees and has served on the Public Safety Committee since joining the Legislature.
